Boatman's test

Aftenskolen is an approved test center for the boat driver exam, so you can take the actual exam with us. We have no fixed scheduled times - so just contact us to arrange a time for the exam.

The exam will take place in our premises in Kunnskapsparken (we are on the 3rd floor in building B).

Before you can take the test, you need to do the following:

1. Register in the boatmaster register. You can do this by clicking the "Register" button on båtførerregisteret.no. Registration costs NOK. 874,- (in 2024) and covers one attempt at the boat driver test + issuance of a boat driver certificate.
2. Schedule your exam with us - and pay our administration fee here on this page.
3. Prepare yourself and show up at the agreed time. Bring your own PC/Mac if you have one.
